Doug qualified as a Barrister in 1986 and subsequently transferred to the Roll of Solicitors in 1990.
After several years working as a Legal Advisor to Magistrates, Doug joined Messrs Turners LLP in 1989 as a Specialist Criminal Defence Litigator and subsequently became an Equity Partner with Turners before forming the present Firm with Robert Renshaw in April 2009.
Doug has Higher Rights of Audience (Criminal).
Doug has earned a strong reputation acting in road traffic and related matters and has acted on behalf of Judges, Magistrates, Solicitors Police Officers, and other high profile clients in Courts throughout the South of England.
